During a recent Raleigh kitchen remodel, we built an addition in order to extend the kitchen space as well as create a new breakfast nook. The new layout required the relocation of all the existing plumbing and electrical lines. The new footprint includes a large island complete with seating and a coffee area with a chalkboard-painted backsplash. New cabinets, fixtures, appliances, granite countertops, tile backsplash, and hardwood floors complete the beautiful new space. Continue reading Raleigh Kitchen Remodel and Addition
Cary Kitchen Remodel
This Cary kitchen remodel we recently completed included the removal of several walls eliminating the pantry, closet and desk area. We installed a beam to open the load-bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room, which created room for the new large island. We also closed up the existing window bay and installed new casement windows to allow for more cabinet and countertop space. New cabinets, tops, appliances, tile, and hardwood floors completed the transformation.

After a full demolition, we swapped locations of the shower and one of the vanities and finished with a new tub, tiled floor, a frameless shower, Quartz tops, recessed lights and cabinets including a custom-made laundry pull-out hamper with shelves above.

Fully Renovated Kitchen in North Raleigh
In our latest North Raleigh kitchen renovation, we completely transformed the space by opening up the wall that previously divided the kitchen from the family room. Because the wall we removed was load-bearing, we installed a beam to support the weight. In order to create a functional breakfast nook, we removed a door and raised windows to make room for a custom-built bench. To unify the space, we added new trim and fresh paint in the dining room and installed new hardwood floors throughout the downstairs. Continue reading Fully Renovated Kitchen in North Raleigh
